BC Fireplace Repair provides professional gas-related repair and maintenance services throughout British Columbia, including but not limited to:

Our service offerings may expand over time. We reserve the right to modify available services without notice.

2. Service Call / Diagnostic Fees

We charge a diagnostic or service call fee for each on-site visit. This fee is communicated to the customer before booking and typically ranges from $99 to $499, depending on the service and location.

This fee covers travel and the initial diagnostic process and is payable regardless of whether further work is performed.

3. Estimates and Work Approval

After completing the initial diagnostic, we may provide a verbal or written estimate for required repairs.

No work is performed without the customer’s verbal approval of the estimate.

If a return visit is needed to complete the job (e.g., to bring a specific part), we require a 50% deposit upon approval of the estimate. The remaining balance is due after the work is completed.

4. Warranties

We offer a limited warranty ranging from 1 to 3 years, depending on the nature of the service and parts used. The specific warranty term will be clearly outlined on your invoice.

Warranty claims must be reported within the warranty period and may be subject to inspection and validation by our technicians.

5. Scheduling and Cancellations

Appointments may be scheduled via phone, email, or our website. We confirm all appointments before dispatching technicians.

There are no cancellation fees, but we request at least 24 hours’ notice for any reschedules or cancellations.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is typically due upon completion of services.

If parts must be ordered and a second visit is required:

  • A 50% deposit is collected upon customer approval of the estimate
  • The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the repair

Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of service.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure high-quality service, BC Fireplace Repair is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage or conditions
  • Issues caused by misuse or lack of maintenance
  • Delays due to weather, supplier availability, or third-party issues

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.
